The terms for booking with Rocky Drive in Canada and Germany: fixed prices, cancellations, waiting time, payment, conduct, liability and governing law.
Last updated · September 2026
These terms apply to the Rocky Drive website, app and every booking made through them. Rocky Drive is operated by Rocky Drive Mobility Inc. and currently operates in Canada and Germany only; only the cities listed on our locations page are served.
In Germany, rides are fulfilled by licensed rental-car (Mietwagen) partners under the Personenbeförderungsgesetz (PBefG). When you book, Rocky Drive arranges the transport contract between you and the licensed partner that carries out the ride; every driver holds a passenger-transport licence (P-Schein).
In Canada, rides are provided by licensed drivers operating under the vehicle-for-hire rules of the municipality and province where the ride starts. Rocky Drive is the booking platform through which the ride is arranged and paid.
The price shown before you confirm is the price you pay, in Canadian dollars in Canada and in euros in Germany. It includes applicable taxes (GST/HST/PST in Canada, VAT in Germany), tolls and airport fees for the route you booked.
If you change the destination, add a stop or ask for a detour during the ride, the new fixed price is shown to you and applies only once you accept it. Traffic, weather and demand never change the price of a confirmed booking.
Payment is taken automatically from the payment method on your account when the ride ends, and your receipt is emailed immediately. Accepted methods differ by market and are listed on the country pages; business accounts are invoiced according to their agreement.
If a payment fails, we will ask you to settle it before your next booking. Questions about a charge should reach us within 30 days of the ride so we can review the trip record while it is complete.
Every ride is covered by the passenger-transport insurance the driver or licensed partner is required to hold in your market. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and nothing limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
Beyond that, Rocky Drive is not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, by your late arrival at the pickup point, or by information you entered incorrectly when booking. Our liability for a booking is otherwise limited to the price of that booking, to the extent the law allows.
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the law, in our service or in how rides are fulfilled in a market. We give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or in the app. Bookings already confirmed stay on the terms that applied when you confirmed them.
